WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST: IRAN, HEZBOLLAH & ISRAEL'S NORTHERN FRONT
Two weeks after the launch of coordinated U.S.–Israel strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the regional conflict continues to evolve, raising growing concerns about escalation across multiple fronts.
Iran’s network of proxies, long a central pillar of the Tehran regime's strategy to project power across the Middle East, is now operating in a more complex and unpredictable environment.
On Israel's northern border, tensions have surged in recent days, as Hezbollah has increased its attacks. The Iran-backed organization, armed with a vast arsenal of rockets and other advanced capabilities, remains one of the Tehran regime's most powerful allies and a key factor in the changing dynamics of the conflict.
The possibility of further intensification of fighting on the northern front carries significant implications not only for Israel and Lebanon, but for the stability of the wider Middle East.
This briefing will examine Iran’s regional strategy, the status of its proxy network, and the growing security challenges along Israel’s border with Lebanon, while exploring how developments involving Hezbollah could shape the next phase of the war.
