 ONLINE BRIEFING

HOW IS THE IRAN CONFLICT RESHAPING EUROPE?

Wednesday, March 25 | 6:00 PM ECT

Europe is deeply exposed to the fallout from the US-Israel preventive strikes on Iran (Feb 28, 2026), which eliminated Supreme Leader Khamenei and crippled key military/nuclear assets.

Iran’s retaliations - missile barrages, Strait of Hormuz threats, Gulf attacks, and a drone strike on the UK base in Cyprus -have already driven sharp rises in energy prices, economic volatility, terrorism risks, cyber threats, migration pressures, and geopolitical strains for the continent.

This Wednesday, March 25 at 6:00 PM CET, join us for an emergency briefing to understand Europe’s entanglement and vulnerabilities in this escalating conflict.

Hear from:

Andrey Kovatchev, Member of the European Parliament (EPP, Bulgaria), Foreign Affairs Committee

Shaparak Saleh, Franco-Iranian lawyer, co-founder Femme Azadi, a non-profit collective of Franco-Iranian women activists, founded in late 2022 after the death of Mahsa Amini.

Moderated by Shannon Seban, Director of European Affairs, Combat Antisemitism Movement.
